1. What is a letter of continued Interest?

일단 Defer되었다는 것은 regular때 합격할 확률이 낮아진다는 것은 절대 아닙니다. 결과적으로 12학년 1학기 및 2학기 성적/활동을 더 보고 싶다는 내용이기 때문에 너무 걱정하지 않아도 됩니다.

2. What should be included in a Letter of Continued Interest?

학교들마다 묻는 질문과 길이가 조금씩 다르지만, 주로 "additional information outside your existing application.” 즉, 원서를 제출한 이후 새롭게 생긴 일들에 대해서만 작성해야 합니다. 원서에 이미 포함된 내용은 기입하면 안됩니다. focus on NEW information!

결국, letter of continued interest를 작성함에 있어서는 다음과 같은 구조로 작업하는 것이 좋습니다.

PartIII: Outside the academics, I have made the following achievements... 이 부분에서는 학업과 무관한 학교 활동에 대한 이야기를 언급합니다. Part2와 마찬가지로 12학년 2학기에 할 내용도 언급해도 됩니다.
